How to Accessorise with Skulls in the Workplace

Hey Sweeties,

You know it’s Friday when this post pops into your social media/Bloglovin/reader feeds! How has your week been? Aside from my day job, I have spent quite a lot of time this week planning future blog posts and trying to introduce some new ideas into my content. Sometimes it’s just so hard finding the time to do this and write without risk of slipping in my blog schedule -anyone else struggle with this?

In other news, this week I have done two new things! I experienced my first Yoga and Zumba classes at my gym! Both I thoroughly enjoyed and (I feel) work together well; I get that full fun work out with Zumba, and in Yoga, I take an hour to myself to listen to my body and stretch, releasing tensions and stresses following too many hours sat at my desk. I am at my happiest when I am fit and healthy and I love keeping active!

Anyway, here is this week’s work wear highlight and in today’s post, I show you how effectively a fun scarf can add a level of fun and interest to an otherwise simple outfit for the workplace.

During the warmer months, our outfits become simpler because we don’t necessarily need to layer. While many pieces can stand alone, sometimes you need that one element in the shape of an accessory that can tie everything together. For me, this skulls patterned scarf picked up from Miss Selfridge in one of their sales a short while ago, is the perfect accessory to lift my outfit.

What I am wearing:

Top: Warehouse

Cardigan: H&M

Skulls Scarf: Miss Selfridge

Trousers: River Island

Pumps: Accessorise

On my nails: Rimmel Instyle Coral & Daisy Days

Watch: DKNY

How do you add fun and interest to a work outfit?

Until next time x
