Autumnal Sunday’s

Sunday

Hey Sweeties,

I don’t know about you but for me, Sunday’s in Autumn are the best. Ignore when it’s wet, but on dry, crisp days -sunny or slightly overcast- I love nothing more than getting all wrapped up and going for a walk, even better if it involves a cosy coffee shop stop along the way. We’re quite lucky, although we (Ian and I) now live in Slough, Windsor and Eton are a mere mile or two away which are the perfect destinations for weekend mooching and are easily walkable to.

Both Windsor and Eton are beautiful. Separated only by a bridge, Windsor is great for shopping and has a vast selection of places for coffee, food and drink; there is little it doesn’t cater for. Eton on the other hand is more quaint and has smaller, boutique type shops and is seeped in tradition and old buildings with amazing architecture; it’s great to walk through.

Being the final day of the weekend, I always like to keep Sunday’s simple, preferring to spend my time relaxing rather than busy doing household chores or activities with friends and family. I hate being inside all day so something like a walk gets me out for a couple of hours before I can then chill out on the sofa with a blanket, a lit candle(s) and either a good book or film.

What do you guys like to get up to?

Until next time x
