The Bloggers Hangout Event | London

Hey Sweeties,

Last Saturday I attended my first  Bloggers Hangout event in London. I have missed out previously on these events owing to them being hosted during the day, or I can’t get there quick enough in the evenings, so I was delighted to see that in celebration of turning three, The Bloggers Hangout were hosting a three day summery birthday hangout.

Arriving at The Strand Gallery, the place was already busy with fellow bloggers so Jordan (JustJawwie) and I headed downstairs first. Here we met Pink Parcel, a monthly subscription box catering directly for that time in the month, whereby in time for the arrival of your period, you get a delivery featuring some tea, tampons, pads, something sweet and some beauty products. As someone that regularly subscribes and purchases beauty boxes, I am really impressed with this concept as you get to enjoy a bit of everything. A big thumbs up from me and I will definitely be signing up to properly enjoy this brand some more, and I actually think it would make a great gift for your girly pals.

T-Tox –

A shot of Matcha Recovery with coconut water

“With one cup of matcha containing the same health benefits as 10 cups of green tea, we at T-tox believe that the superfood is the perfect partner to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.”

As a vegetarian-vegan, it’s important that while gorging on veggies, grains, beans and pulses, I do ensure that I am still filling my body with the right proteins and nutrients it needs that other diets more naturally/easily incorporate. Even though I was given a shot of the matcha tea which was very easy and quick to consume, I can’t see it being something I would consume. However, the matcha powder can be added into smoothies and other things as well so this for me would be really easy to incorporate.  If you are a tea lover you’ll really like this product I think.

Dinki Belle –

At the moment I get my nails (hands & feet) polished with Shellac because I have a lot of trips and things planned across the summer, so for me it’s the easiest way to have my nails always looking their best without worrying about chips and things. That being said (and ignoring my current nail situation for now), I was really impressed with Dinki Belle’s nail wraps and these will definitely appeal to a lot of people.

Sass & Belle –

Quite possibly this was the stand that got people the most excited because I mean, look at it, what’s not to love? Pineapples, cactus and flamingos couldn’t be any more on trend right now and here you have a brand with an entire catalogue of themed gifts and homeware dedicated to those three things and more. I have a keen eye on the (very popular) flamingo mug and the beautiful dishes which I think will make a great addition to any dressing table for jewellery. I was lucky enough to be gifted (amongst other things from Sass & Belle) one of the pineapple glass tumblers which will no doubt be added to my collection of makeup storage for my dressing table. If you’re looking for fun and very affordable gifts with a bit of a difference, definitely check these guys out.

Regenerate –

What some of you guys won’t know (unless of course you’ve read My Graduate Experience post which provides some context to my background), before going to University to pursue my career in marketing I trained as a dental nurse. Without going into detail, while my knowledge of dentistry and the industry isn’t as good as it once was, in equal measure I still know enough to see through many of the products available on the market. What you need to take from this guys is that if I ever recommend you anything to do with your teeth, I’ll have properly trialled it myself and be confident of its effects. I am certainly intrigued by Regenerate and their claims to reverse early erosion of enamel, and I was kindly gifted the toothpaste and boosting serum which I will try and then review for you in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

If you are a blogger and yet to check out The Bloggers Hangout, do! I really hope it’s not too long before I can attend my next event!

Over all I really enjoyed this event but the venue I feel wasn’t the most sensible of choice. Gallery’s do make excellent venues but this one was quite narrow so it was a bit of a nightmare moving between the brands and it got ridiculously hot. I was also expecting to network a little bit more than I did but again, the venue just allowed for you to visit the brands, get some (amazing) gifts/freebies and be on your way. If I hadn’t agreed to meet Jordan from JustJawwie beforehand, I wouldn’t have said hello to anyone.

Have you guys checked out any of the brands featured above?

Until next time x

To be honest I haven’t heard anything from them in a while and so I am not wholly sure they still do events unfortunately.

Ahh it looks like a great event! That’s the only problem with living up North – It feels like the bulk of events are in the South Boooo!

Photos are lovely as ever, glad you had a good time!
