Bobbi Brown French Pink Set Review

Bobbi brown french pink set

Hey Sweeties,

You’ll remember this Bobbi Brown blusher from my beauty haul I did a couple of weeks ago from The Cosmetics Company. This was one of two items I bought from the brand, the other being a nail varnish which will have it’s own separate review later on. Anyway, I promised reviews for all the items within that haul so let’s get cracking!

Bobbi Brown French pink set

Firstly, this product comes in a smart, beautifully compact black box. It’s sturdy, simple and yet elegant. The brush is small and wonderfully soft but durable enough to ensure a good application of product although I probably wouldn’t use it for anything else asides from blusher.

Upon opening the packaging to reveal the blush, it is beautiful; some real eye candy! As this blusher was released as part of the Bobbi Brown Breast Cancer awareness collection, stamped within the middle of the product is the well-known campaign ribbon. In the lid of the packaging is a decently sized mirror which for me always rounds off quality beauty packaging and demonstrates some care and attention has been paid by the brand for determining a nice finish and practicality has been considered. This is definitely a blusher you can take with you on the go.

The blusher is very pigmented, you need only the lightest of sweeps with the brush through the product for a consistent application. As I said in my original beauty haul post it was this that attracted me so much to it and why I forfeited Mac’s Immortal Flower blush. Not that I really needed another pink blusher but Bobbi Brown’s French Pink really is divine and one I couldn’t resist.

For durability, I can report that despite its light application, it sits on top of foundation and keeps your cheeks lightly dusted in pink all day and works well with other products such as bronzer and highlighter. If you’re someone that likes a real pink cheek, something that looks quite heavily applied or if you need to go for a stronger shade because your skin is darker you can easily achieve this. I would say this blusher really is versatile with its uses.

As a whole, Bobbi Brown’s French Pink Set is £35 and for that you get a high end blusher and a quality makeup brush. I fortunately got it all for £24.50 which although is still expensive –particularly for me- you can’t actually fault what you get for your money.

Until next time x
