Huge Boots and TK MAXX beauty haul!

Following giving up beauty purchases for Lent, it is only natural and expected that a haul was soon to happen… and it’s happened! The majority of the purchases were from Boots, with a couple of items from TK Maxx.

Boots Haul

I am about to run out of my Garnier Micellar water so I popped that in my basket first; I am so pleased I switched to using this following years of using a lotion formula to remove eye makeup.

As the weather has warmed up a little (for now at least), I have been wanting much lighter makeup and currently I only have one BB cream which is from Smashbox (review here). I have heard great things about the CC cream from Bourjois and have been keen to try it for myself, so this is the stand I headed to straight away.

Fortunately, there was a two-for-£14 offer and I took the opportunity to pick up -as well as the CC cream in 32, light beige- another of the Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks which I have been loving so much lately.

Rimmel had a 3-for-2 offer so I made use of this…twice!

Rimmel haul

9-in-1 skin perfecting BB cream, 25 light | Scandal Eyes eye shadow crayon, 011 Bluffing | Exaggerate full colour lipliner, 063 East End Snob | Stay Matte powder, 003 Peach Glow (repurchase) | Nail polish, 415 Instyle Coral | Nail polish, 450 Daisy Days |

Scandal Eyes eye shadow crayon

This was a spontaneous purchase, particularly as I haven’t really tried eye shadow crayons before

I then went over to TK Maxx!

Tanya Burr lipgloss

If I hadn’t spent most of my budget in Boots, I could have gone quite Tanya Burr crazy as there were loads of her products in store but I limited myself to just picking up another of her lip glosses, this time in shade Picnic in the Park. Although I am not a huge lip gloss wearer (so you know where I stand on Rimmel’s #Glossydebate), I do like Tanya’s range and for a mere £2.99, I am hardly going to pass this up! (Read my review on her nail polish & lipgloss here).

In regard to the brushes, this is the second set I have picked up from TK Maxx from this brand as they are an almost perfect dupe for the Real Techniques ones! If you’re anything like me, you can never have enough eye makeup brushes.

Real Techniques Dupe Set

I can’t wait to try out my new purchases, particularly the BB & CC creams, so I’ll let you know what I think of them over the next few weeks.

What new beauty products have you guys picked up lately?

Until next time x
