Cream for dry, sensitive and irritated skin | Kimovi cream review

Cream for dry sensitive and irritated skin – I was recently contacted by the team at HelloSkin a site providing nonprescription products, nutritional supplements, and accessories serving the need of people with psoriasis, eczema, Acne and dry skin conditions, to see if I would like to try out one of the products available on their website.

In this post I review Kimovi cream*.

KIMOVI Cream

“KIMOVI Cream is a mild and soothing treatment designed to ease the symptoms of dry and sensitive skin, free of the fragrances, colorants, and parabens.

KIMOVI Cream contains two ingredients from Africa in particular that are well associated with restoring skin: Shea Butter and Kigelia Africana. The latter is derived from a tropical African fruit tree and is well-known for its skin restoring qualities.

Shea Butter is an ivory-coloured fat from the nut of the Shea tree, often used in high-quality cosmetics because of its benefits as a moisturiser.

Combining these two effective ingredients, this cream can help to provide lasting healing and relief to people suffering from minor skin irritations.” –HelloSkin

The packaging

The plastic tube packaging is ideal for product distribution, but I have to be honest that although the labeling is clear, it wouldn’t catch my attention on a shop shelf or even online.

For me, it looks a bit basic and dare I say, a little cheap? (the product retails at £34.99). That being said, I have tried many a product with fancy packaging and the product itself is a nightmare to access so in this case, practicality wins over aesthetics.

Application and thoughts

Before receiving the product, I had not heard of KIMOVI cream before but I am pleased this is now on my radar. The instructions outline that the cream can be applied to the face and body.

To the touch, the KIMOVI cream feels very luxurious which will be down to those two key ingredients mentioned earlier, the Shea butter and Kigelia Africana. Following application, the KIMOVI cream absorbs quickly leaving skin soothed and plump with hydration.

I occasionally suffer with really dry hands, particularly in the colder months, which can become itchy and cracked. Over the period of a few days of regular use, this cream for dry, sensitive and irritated skin worked it’s magic.

All in all, I really like this product and I would encourage you to give it a go if you’re struggling to find skincare that meets your needs.

Until next time x
