As I mentioned in my last post (here), I said that as I have gotten older I prefer to spend my money on services and experiences, and this also applies to gifts. I live away from my family and most of my friends and so for me, I love to give and receive the gift of time and share in something as opposed to having a gift that will just take up more space (but that’s not to say I am ungrateful for the presents I receive).
