Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet Review from The Body Shop

Hey Sweeties,

I’m excited to review for you today The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet, which I have been using for the past month or two and totally love it!

What initially attracted me to this product was that I had read a couple of small online reviews that claimed this was both a moisturiser and a primer in one. The timing for seeing these couldn’t have been better as both my everyday moisturiser and my Rimmel long lasting finish primer were about to run dry, so now was the perfect opportunity to try something new.

The packaging

Firstly, I love the frosted glass jar packaging, it’s so pretty particularly as the product itself is a cool pink which shows through the jar and adds to its prettiness.

The product

As a product, it’s gorgeously refreshing on the skin and applies well, I almost want to say that there is a very light feeling of silicon which isn’t what is in it, but it has that consistency that suggests there is an ingredient that gives the sorbet a slight texture which allows it to hold makeup so well on top of.

Whereas a standard moisturiser absorbs into the skin, and a primer layers on top, the Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet feels as though it does both while being immensely hydrating and cool to the skin.

The product costs £13 for 50ml which, while it doesn’t sound a lot for your money, you only need to use a little of the product as it goes a long way.

Personally, I think it’s a cracking little pot of moisturiser that absolutely can moonlight as a perfectly decent primer and if you’re on the lookout for something new and a little different, The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet would not be a bad shout at all.

Until next time x
