Wedding planning can be super stressful but gathering wedding ideas can be a really fun part of the process. I don’t want to disclose too much about my own big day on here just yet but I thought I would share three places I got inspiration from that you could too.

Wedding ideas boards on Pinterest
I didn’t have a Pinterest account until I got engaged but I am now on it most evenings and I think it is one of the best modern tools for idea generation. I have wedding ideas boards for: cakes, invitations, hair & makeup, photography, dresses, favours & a couple of general ideas boards for those little touches.
Except for the cake, attire and catering, all the favours and decoration is going to be done by me (hopefully). I am very creative so this is a great opportunity to really get into my element and an easy way to keep within our wedding budget.
Bridal magazines
My collection of bridal magazines is growing! Call me old fashioned but I still love some traditional mediums and I still find a great pleasure in flicking through magazines and folding down the pages of things I like.
Wedding fairs
I have tickets to go to the National Wedding Fair in London next weekend with one of my best friends (who is also engaged), so that we can spend the day being congratulated by everyone we meet, while also gathering a ton of wedding ideas and inspiration.
Wedding fairs are a fantastic way to meet a large number of suppliers whose products and services you could utilise for your wedding. Local wedding fairs are also often in wedding venues you can hire so another way to gather wedding ideas, particularly for how spaces are styled.
